Specter, true identity unknown, records missing. Demonstrated extraordinary ability in combating large creatures and destroying sturdy targets, speculated to correlate with extensive prior combat experience.
Now stationed as a Guard at Rhodes Island.
Imaging tests done on Specter showed a blurry outline around her internal organs, with visible abnormal dark spots. Unusually high concentrations of Originium particles were present in her circulatory system, indicating signs of Infection and confirming her as Infected at this stage.

[Cell-Originium Assimilation] 14%
While Specter showed no physical signs of Originium crystals, her nervous system has suffered a case of severe Infection, the cause behind which remains unknown.

[Blood Originium-Crystal Density] 0.31u/L
Still within manageable range. Even then, without knowing the specific cause for her Infection, test data cannot accurately reflect her condition and are of little use.

In addition, Specter is plagued by severe mental health issues, including but not limited to: memory loss, emotional instability, and lack of self-awareness. Unfortunately, I am not a neurologist nor a psychiatrist and thus unqualified to speculate on the cause or solution, but I wish to make note of her mental condition in her file.
—Medic Operator Silence
It was difficult probing into Specter's past. When Rhodes Island took her in, she showed temporary lucidity until she lapsed into psychosis before treatment could be administered.
In her day-to-day life, Specter's mental condition remains unstable, thus greatly limiting her social interactions with other Operators.
Medical staff will continue administering regular tests and treatment, although success has been limited to date.
Based on intel gathered, Specter was once a nun residing at a convent. The matter was not investigated further due to her current mental state and Rhodes Island's present goals.
However, Dr. Kal'tsit believes Specter's past is closely linked to that convent, which is also likely hiding the truth behind her mysterious past.
The medical department's in-depth examination revealed Oripathy to be the cause of Specter's deteriorating physical health.
Furthermore, Specter lacked both the necessary aptitude and knowledge to wield Originium powers. This is puzzling and greatly impacts her combat ability.
Despite her difficulties, Specter was still devastatingly powerful during her missions, to the point of unsettlement. She undoubtedly has incredible room for growth and improvement.
Even more important is her polarizing attitudes in combat and in her daily life.
She is demure and quiet in battle (other than a few occasional mumbles to herself), with a mindless tendency to follow orders to the end, completely unaware of potential danger and obstacles. Her inability to react has endangered her safety more than once.
It can be concluded that Specter is a vital part of the squad, but a commander must also adapt to her single-mindedness and plan accordingly.
[Classified Log]
In actuality, when Specter first approached Rhodes Island, she was articulate and sincere, claiming she had just escaped confinement and wished to deliver a message.
However, she fell silent before she could finish conveying it. In her last moments of sanity, she told the Operator who retrieved her that she has once again gotten entangled in a dark conspiracy.
After she failed to tear off her habit, she then descended into madness.
Folksong of a Faraway Land:
When she prayed
The stars ceased to shimmer
And when she wept
The night let out a smile
And as she lamented
The anguish sprawled upon her madness

Specter clutches the candle holder tight. She remembers it. But it should not be here.
The Medical Department operators visited her a moment ago. They pricked an ever-so-cautious drop of blood from her finger, then left her alone to recite prayer from her heart, liturgical meanings discerned by none. They tend to her body, attempt to heal her rended ego—they would not bestow her such a vile gift as this.
She touches the candlelight, but the fingertip feels no hint of warmth. A momentary lucidity and tranquility race ashore like foam. The edges of the waves wash over her throat cut wide open, and zealotry, scorched sun-dry in darkness, extinguishes its bellows. In the same moment, white flame climbs her wrist, sets her nun's habit alight, and leaps from her shoulder to sink into her sweeping hair.
Through the candlelight, she looks within. Laurentina stands before a statue. The Stygian sea encases a dome teeming with lights. The figure freed from raw stone lingers in her eyes, and its shadow chisels out an alcove. There, Laurentina lifts a machine to cut stone, a 'Little Handy' roving in circles beside her, swallowing up the fragments that pitter-patter against the floor.
Through the candlelight, she looks within. Rallying cries. Piercing whistles and sawblades all around as far as the eye can see, gristle and blood peeled from body, bones met together and fractured apart. The hunters born beneath domes are tearing apart the barriers of flesh now before them, their enemies falling to the seafloor as raindrops to the surface. A lance severs open a cavity; an incisive and clarion order; amidst ocean's currents Laurentina charges in. She hears singing.
Through the candlelight, she looks within. The statue behind the candle holder is virgin holy white, and when it weeps, it casts a shadow. She is sliced apart, to then be mended; sliced apart again, to then be mended again. Finally, they use Specter to slice apart Laurentina, and allow the seeds of dry land to root within her body. Thus, the sister kneels before the candle holder, grips her pendant tight, recites prayer from her heart, liturgical meanings discerned by none.
Through the candlelight, she looks within. The door to the treatment ward is pulled open. A familiar scent. A lithe yet firm echo of footsteps strikes down the candle holder, melting it into the lights of the corridor. Specter curls up, dreaming a peaceful dream so rare for her. In her dream, she burns atop the candle holder, as if she is its fourth flame.
