  Story

  It was while wandering around Rhodes Island absentmindedly that Uika met Astesia.
  Uika has been enchanted by the elegant yet mystifying astrology of Terra at first sight, and is happy to find a passionate kindred spirit in Astesia. The two become friends instantly. In making Astesia's divination room a regular destination, Uika begins to learn divination herself.
  Terra's sky is altogether not the sky Uika knew, and its every unknown is a fierce draw to her. Keeping an observation log of the stars as Astesia does, perusing the material Astesia gathers, sometimes having Astesia tell her fortune, she finds herself partaking in all sorts of particular little rituals while gazing the stellar sea. What fascinates Uika about divination isn't the results as much as the very method itself, and she picks up some sword skills involved in the divination ritual too. Feeling the stars' aspects as Astesia can is out of her reach, but Uika enjoys her time with astrology all the same.
  The days pass, and the two grow closer than ever.
  One day, they make time for tea brewed by Astesia, as they are sitting beside a miniature revolving planetarium.
  'You really do love the stars, don't you, Uika? There aren't many at Rhodes Island who could say much about them. Terra's night sky and its astrology are both plagued with mystery, so it's rare anyone devotes their time and attention just out of love. Why do you look at the stars, I wonder?'
  Uika lapses into thought, then smiles and answers. 'Looking at the stars calms me down... they give me courage to deal with the pressure and negative emotions in life. That's why they're so special to me.'
  'Really? So you're not, say, entrusting them with your feelings toward someone special?'
  'Eh? Wh-What makes you think that?!' Uika has never flustered in front of Astesia until now.
  'Well, whenever I see you looking up at the starry sky without a word, or learning how to divine... I see that look in your eyes—you hope to share that moment with a treasured one, and you pray for their happiness.'
  'W-Was it really that easy to tell...?' Flustered, Uika's cheeks reddened.
  'There's nothing embarrassing about it! I'm just like you. So I know just how you feel.'
  'You do...?'
  'I do. I have my dear little sister here at Rhodes Island too, and I have to keep going for her sake. Oh, but she does keep telling me how stubborn I am... Heheh. I have a ways to go as a big sister myself.'
  Oh. She sounds just like... I see. Maybe that's why we clicked so well.
  'I know stargazing is a personal hobby of yours, but you're just as interested in divination, aren't you? Say, are you hoping to divine someone's fortune?'
  'Oh, Astesia-san, you really...' Uika means to underline her gratitude with that, but Astesia suddenly leans in closer, brimming with intrigue.
  'Is it family? Or a friend? Are they at Rhodes Island? Or back in your home country?'
  'Er, well... it's—a little complicated, to be honest...'
