Courier is an employee of the Karlan Trade Co. LTD, and was born in Kjerag. He is part of the cooperation agreement between the Karlan Trade Co. and Rhodes Island, by which he helps carry out missions for the latter.

Courier's keen sense of the terrain and environment is entirely from years of experience. In fact, when he was a child, he was not only unfamiliar with the roads, but he would even get lost. The way he tells it, he once got snowbound when he went out to play and almost didn't make it home alive. Fortunately, SilverAsh was hunting nearby and found him, thus returning him to safety. Because of this, no matter who might try to convince or threaten him to turn his back on SilverAsh, Courier will forever be the man's most faithful supporter.

As a race living in the cold regions of the plateau, the Itra have extraordinary resilience and endurance. Courier is no exception. Still, he likes to keep a low profile. He does everything with skill and with ease, and never lets anyone sees the limits of his abilities. Even SilverAsh is unaware of just what this Itra is capable of.

People enjoy having their letters delivered by Courier. Not only thanks to his attractive face and sunny disposition, but also because the letters he delivers have a faint fragrance about them. When the topic comes up, Courier will immediately change the subject. If pressed on it, he will hem and haw and his face will blush, a side of Courier very rarely seen.

Courier rarely loses his signature faint smile, though it should be noted that he has another side - a calm, tranquil, and peaceful side characteristic of one from the snowlands. Only his enemies and his most trusted friends get the chance to see that side of him. If he loses his smile while talking to you, that can only mean one thing - he regards you as a dear friend.

Most of the scars on Courier's body came from the people of Kjerag rather than beasts. After all, as an important man, SilverAsh has many enemies that want him dead. Courier always confronts these people in the dark. As for the fights with these rebels, only Courier's scars tell the tale - Courier himself says nary a word.

Weiss brushes the snow off his body, and enters.
If it weren't for the bandages and bruises, you would never suspect from his unrelenting faint smile that he'd just gone through bitter hell.
It was an attempt on Enciodes's life. Comms were cut off before Weiss could state the precise location, leaving Enciodes's guards no choice but to provisionally surround him. Shields and blades firm in hand, they noted, out of the corners of their eyes, the Caprinae woman standing by their master's side.
They were all sure that with this Caprinae bodyguard by his side, no attempt would ever succeed. They just needed to coordinate with each other and settle this chaos while keeping casualties to a minimum. Not to mention, Weiss managed to get the most critical part of the message out, so now all they had to do was wait patiently for the enemy to serve themselves up.
But they didn't get to await the enemy.
In fact, when they caught sight of the traps on the mountain that had taken down a dozen or so of said enemy, the guards, shields and blades and all, were momentarily shocked—just a few branches hidden in the snow, plus flint blades fashioned out of rocks struck together, formed traps no one would ever notice and yet which sunk circle after circle of blood into the white snow, a faintly sanguine pink even leeching into the tundra some meters out.
And strewn all along the tundra were the enemy's now frozen severed limbs, as well as blood and pulped flesh hacked free from Weiss himself, forming mound upon mound in the snowfall. Sunk into the dismembered parts were wounds fierce, firm, and even visibly wrathful, while the cuts on Weiss that bared bone made every guard wince.
Itra do not reign supreme in sturdiness, and though Weiss's abilities excel, he is only human. Only a single member of Enciodes's guards, one who spends a considerable amount of time merely couriering Kjerag's letters to boot. People are fond of the faint scent on the letters he handles, and of his cheery face, and they admire his loyalty to Enciodes.
But no one would've imagined he had this side to him too.
Why? Nobody had asked Weiss to go so far. Being all on his own, simply passing on the word would've sufficed. He could've found somewhere to hide, and mustered enough defense to cope with this spate of traitors.
Enciodes looks over Weiss, but makes no move to ask him anything. Weiss sorts out the letters and documents on the table and deferentially excuses himself. Before the door closes, Enciodes hears a cut-off remark vanish into the wind: '...live up to duty.'
